The Taelonists were a group that formed after the discovery of Ma'el's tomb on Earth in Strand Hill.
After learning of the past encounter with the Taelons, a group of Humans decided to emulate the Companions in both appearance as well as culture. Setting up camp outside the tomb of Ma'el, they sought to better understand the Taelons and highly revered them. They made many representations of the writings from Ma'els tomb as focuses for their meditations whilst they attempted to practice Companion philosophy of life. Taelonists claimed that they were only interested in peace and love. (Episode: Bliss)
